Selection and Evaluation Criteria
For successful application one must fulfil the mandatory requirements indicated below.
- Participants should demonstrate their businesses are aligned to the conference theme (The role of intermediary cities in Africa in the implementation of the UN agenda 2030 and the African agenda 2063).
- Diversity in terms of sector balancing and representation to be considered.
- Local innovations and unique products to be prioritized
- First come, first serve principle to be applied
- Two hundred (200) spaces at the convention centre vicinity to be designated for businesses from LREB region while three hundred (300) spaces for businesses from other regions of Kenya.
- Two hundred (200) spaces at Oginga Odinga Sports Ground to be designated for businesses from LREB region while three hundred (300) spaces for businesses from other regions of Kenya.
- Attachment of documents as per the checklist below
- Affiliation and membership to institution/regulatory body/Business body
- Micro and small enterprises should be protected from medium and large organization by reserving spaces targeting this particular special groups
- 5% of the spaces to be reserved for PWDs, 5% discounted rate of on the registration fee.
